The Bank temporary suspends its operations in all branches in Sumy, Kherson regions and in Kyiv, as well as operations in certain branches in Donetsk, Luhansk, Kyiv, Kharkiv, Odesa, Vinnytsia, Zaporizhzhia, Zhytomyr, Mykolaiv and Chernihiv regions.
In other regions of Ukraine, the working hours of branches are reduced and are the following 9:00-16:00.

Money Transfers

MoneyGram
Receiving money transfers via the MoneyGram system (from abroad and within Ukraine) is carried out through the mobile app MyRaif. Convenient and fast receipt of transfers in US dollars, euros to a current foreign currency account or in hryvnias to a card account from 200+ countries and 450+ service points worldwide.

Western Union
Sending money transfers abroad via the Western Union system is temporarily suspended in accordance with paragraph 17 of the Resolution of the National Bank of Ukraine Board dated 24.02.2022 No. 18 “On the operation of the banking system during the martial law period”. Sending money transfers within Ukraine via the Western Union system in national currency is possible at a bank branch according to the current tariffs.
Receiving money transfers via the Western Union system (both from abroad and within Ukraine) is carried out at a bank branch and through the chat of the mobile app MyRaif.
You can check the status of a Western Union transfer on the Raiffeisen website in the “Transfers and Payments” section - “Money Transfers” - “Instant Western Union Transfer” - “Track Transfer”.
Raiffeisen Express
Receiving “Raiffeisen Express” transfers is carried out in national currency within Ukraine at a bank branch and through the chat of the mobile app MyRaif.
Sending SWIFT transfers outside Ukraine from own foreign currency current accounts is allowed only for transfers related to the following operations:
- Payment of medical treatment expenses in foreign medical institutions (including rehabilitation services), as well as related additional expenses associated with the treatment process (including consultations, tests, inpatient stay/accommodation, meals), purchase of prostheses and components, payment for installation, maintenance, and repair of prostheses, transportation of patients, payment of expenses related to the death of citizens abroad (transportation and burial costs), including insurance payments under insurance contracts for persons traveling abroad, to accounts of assisting non-resident companies;
- Transfer of funds for education and services supporting the study process abroad (including payment for accommodation/visa for the study period/transfers from dormitory to study offices/meals/insurance/medical services in case of emergency). Such transfers may be made to accounts of foreign educational institutions or to accounts of non-resident legal entities authorized by the educational institutions to receive funds;
- Transfer of funds within the monthly limit of 400,000 UAH (equivalent at the official NBU exchange rate) for payment of goods that contribute to strengthening Ukraine’s defense capability, classified under the following HS codes according to the Law of Ukraine “On the Customs Tariff of Ukraine”: 8507, 6211 43 90 00, 6506 10 80 00, 61-62, 6403-6405, 3926, 6217, 9005 10 00 00, 9005 80 00 00, 8802 20 00 00, 8802 30 00 00, 9404 30 00 00, 3926 90 92 90, 30, 8517, 8525, 8806, 9025, 2915, 3824, 3920, 8407, 8526, 8529, 8537, 8542, 8543, 8807, 9004, 9013, 9014, 9015, 9027. Such goods include bulletproof vests, helmets, military and tactical uniforms, military and tactical footwear, protective clothing, optical surveillance devices, drones, sleeping bags, mats, first aid supplies, etc.;
- transfer of funds for alimony payments;
- transfers by non-resident individuals of foreign currency purchased with funds received due to the death of a serviceman, according to the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine Resolution No. 168 dated February 28, 2022 “On certain payments to servicemen, rank-and-file and commanding staff, police officers and their families during martial law”;
- Transfers by servicemen who are non-residents, of funds received as monetary allowance under Ukrainian legislation, not exceeding the equivalent of 400,000 UAH per calendar month (credited until 01.05.2026). Such operations are allowed through the bank where the monetary allowance account is opened;
- Transfers of foreign currency by electronic residents (e-residents) to their own accounts opened outside Ukraine, if such transfers are made from funds received from non-residents abroad, after paying taxes required by Ukrainian law, and without using an electronic payment instrument;
- transfer of foreign currency for the purpose of returning social benefits received by individuals in foreign countries to the accounts of authorized foreign state bodies.
- operations with transfers by non-resident individuals of funds that from May 1, 2026, were credited to their accounts in national currency in Ukrainian banks as: salaries and other payments provided by the Law of Ukraine “On Remuneration of Labor”; payments to members of the supervisory board/board of directors/executive body of a legal entity established under Ukrainian law, as stipulated by civil law contracts concluded with this legal entity. Such operations are allowed through the bank where the monetary allowance account is opened.
To perform the above foreign currency transfers abroad, clients may, if necessary, purchase non-cash foreign currency/exchange non-cash foreign currency for another foreign currency on the Ukrainian foreign exchange market.
Sending SWIFT transfers within Ukraine from own foreign currency current accounts is allowed only if the funds are transferred to:
- own account within Raiffeisen or another Ukrainian bank;
- accounts of relatives within Raiffeisen or another Ukrainian bank based on supporting documents confirming family relationships (the list of relatives eligible for transfers is defined in the NBU Board Resolution No. 5 dated 02.01.2019);
- special account for collecting funds to support the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
To receive a SWIFT transfer, you can open a foreign currency account in the mobile app MyRaif. The currency of the transfer must match the account currency, and you can also copy the details in the app.
Please note that certain restrictions currently apply according to paragraph 17 of the NBU Board Resolution No. 18 dated 24.02.2022 “On the operation of the banking system during the martial law period”.

Cards and payments:
- The effective period of the cards that expire starting from February 2022 is extended for 3 years;
- You can order a virtual card (in UAH, USD or EUR) to the existing or new account in the chat in MyRaif application;
- If you do not have a plastic card, you can pay with the virtual card by adding it to Apple Pay or Google Pay via MyRaif application.

Credit Cards and Loans:

Cash Transactions:
- Cash withdrawals from hryvnia accounts within Ukraine are temporarily limited to 100,000 UAH per day per client account. Details are available at the link.
- Cash withdrawals from foreign currency accounts are available up to 100,000 UAH per day according to NBU Resolution No. 58 dated 21.03.2022. The calculation is made in the account currency (euro, dollar) at the NBU exchange rate set on the day of the transaction.
- We remind you of the availability of the “Cash at checkout” service in store and gas station networks. When paying for purchases at checkout, you can withdraw cash at ATB, Silpo, Fora, Varus, Eva, NOVUS, FOZZY, OKKO gas stations, UKRNAFTA, Epicenter, “Bila Romashka” pharmacy, and other retail chains.
Currency Exchange:
Cash foreign currency can be purchased at Bank branch cash desks within the limits of cash available at the branch in accordance with the law.
In MyRaif, you can buy non-cash foreign currency:
- within a monthly limit of 50,000 UAH (equivalent) credited to a current or card account;
- within a monthly limit of 200,000 UAH (equivalent) credited to a deposit account.
You can sell foreign currency to the bank via MyRaif or at a bank branch.
Funds from a foreign currency account can be transferred to a hryvnia card through currency exchange in the MyRaif app.
You can issue a virtual foreign currency card through the chat in the app (More - Contact the Bank).
Operations of branches and ATMs:
- All bank efforts are focused on minimizing risks to the health and safety of employees and clients; therefore, the bank is forced to suspend operations of some branches and services of some ATMs.
- The branches that remain open operate according to the standard schedule.

- To help you better understand how currency conversion works when paying with your card abroad, we have gathered all useful information and prepared answers to the most frequently asked questions here.
- Your card is not blocked and is automatically available for payments and cash withdrawals at ATMs abroad.
- You can pay with your hryvnia card in stores and online. Current exchange rates.
Cash withdrawals at ATMs:
- Since 25.05.2022, the cash withdrawal fee at branches and ATMs will be 2% (except for Prestige and Exclusive premium package holders).
- Cash withdrawals from hryvnia accounts are limited to 12,500 UAH (equivalent) per seven calendar days (Monday to Sunday), according to NBU Resolution No. 18 dated 22.02.2022. Details here.
Payments in foreign currency:
- A monthly limit of 100,000 UAH (equivalent) has been set for payments abroad using hryvnia payment cards from all client accounts opened in national currency at the bank.
Card and account top-ups:
- You can open a foreign currency account in the MyRaif app to receive SWIFT transfers. The transfer currency must match the account currency, and you can also copy the details in the app.
- Funds from a foreign currency account can be transferred to a hryvnia card via currency exchange in the MyRaif app.
- You can top up your credit card via the MyRaif app or on the bank’s website in the «Transfers and Payments» section using cards from any Ukrainian banks in national currency.
- You can repay cash loans and mortgages using a VISA/MasterCard payment card issued by any Ukrainian or foreign bank, in any currency, on the bank’s website in the «Transfers and Payments» section.
Deposits:
- We continue accruing interest under the deposits according to the terms of the agreements.
- Early termination of deposits is possible only under the deposits the terms and conditions of which provide such possibility.

Important information for business customers
- Opening of current accounts for new business customers is possible both during the visit to the Bank’s brunch and remotely;
- Opening of card accounts with the issue of the embossed business cards for all new and existing business customers is possible both during the visit to the Bank’s branch and remotely, provided that cards are delivered only to the open branches.
- For remote accounts opening you should fill in the application on the website and provide the documents according to list signed with the qualified electronic signature. Individual entrepreneurs can open an account online, more details at the link.
Card that expired:
- In February 2022 – will be accepted until 02/2025;
- From February 2022 to February 2024 –will be prolonged for 1095 days (3 years);
- After February 2024–will be automatically prolonged for 1095 days (3 years);
- During the period of the martial law the service “Free of charge personal delivery” (for customer serviced within the service package Business direct) is provided only in Kyiv.
- Withdrawal of cash on the territory of Ukraine, withdrawal of cash and settlements abroad are temporarily restricted according to the requirements of the NBU BR No. 18 of 24.02.2022, more details at the link.

Lending for business customers
We suspended disbursement of new loans to business-banking customers (individual entrepreneurs and legal entities);
For loans without the overdue debt or loans, under which the delay in payment does not exceed 30 days inclusive as of 22.02.2022:
1. We applied repayment holidays for 2 months;
2. We prolonged the loan period for 2 months (except for revolving credit lines and credit cards). The effective period of credit limit for credit cards will be automatically prolonged according to the procedure defined in the loan agreement);
3. For the period of repayment holidays the payment under the loan and interests shall constitute UAH 0.00;
Payments under the principal amount of Loan and interests specified in the Schedule for the period of Repayment holidays shall be shifted for 2 months after the ending date of the Repayment holidays;
in case of overdue debt with the delay not exceeding 30 days –its capitalization and penalty cancelling, if any.
We decreased limits for overdrafts according to the outstanding debt amount as of 24.02.2022. Funds received to the current account will be used for the debt repayment.
We increased the period of continuous debit balance from 90 to 180 days for customers, for customers whose continuous debit balance exceeded 60 days as of 24.02.2022
Overdraft period will be prolonged up to 25.04.2022 (for overdrafts, under which the agreement expires during the period from 24.02.2022 to 25.03.2022).
For credit cards:
1. We applied repayment holidays for 2 months and cancelled mandatory monthly payment for the period of the repayment holidays;
2. The principal debt under the loan will be increased by the amount of accrued and not repaid interests (debt capitalization);
3.Credit line limit will be set on the level of actual debt considering unauthorized overdraft (if the debt amount after restructuring exceeds the credit limit amount stipulated in the loan agreement).
