Sending

Sending remittances to individuals (residents and nonresidents) in favor of individuals (residents and nonresidents) in or outside Ukraine in accordance with the current legislation of Ukraine.

To transfer money:

  • come with a passport or other identity document and taxpayer identification code1 to any Branch that works with Western Union;
  • fill out the form «For sending money» surname and name of the receiver, receiving country and the amount of the transfer;
  • pay the cost of transfer and additional services;
  • inform the recipient 10-digit control number provided to You by the operator.

Payment

Payment to individuals (residents and nonresidents) remittances received from abroad or within Ukraine from individuals (residents or non-residents) or legal entities that have concluded a corresponding contract with the Western Union company, in accordance with the current legislation of Ukraine.

To receive money:

1. In the branch:

  • come with a passport or other identity document and taxpayer identification code1 to any Branch that works with Western Union;
  • fill outthe form «For receiving money» surname and name of the sender, the sending country, the amount of transfer and 10-digit control number (hereinafter - obligatory data for money to be paid);
  • after verification of all data receive your money.

2.Online by submitting an application (message) through Raiffeisen Online:
• contact the chat bot of Raiffeisen online system (menu "Contact with the bank" → "Messages");
• enter all mandatory data for payment of the transfer;
• specify the current/card account to which you wish to receive the transfer. If you do not have an account in the currency of payment of the transfer, you will be asked to open such an account;
• confirm familiarization with the terms and conditions of Western Union transfer services;
• receive funds transfer to the account.

The Western Union company is a global leader in money transfers at order of individuals without opening Bank accounts, handling tens of millions of money transfers per year

Remittances are sent and paid abroad / from abroad and throughout Ukraine in accordance with the current legislation of Ukraine. All disputes arising between participants and users (senders and receivers) of the system of Western Union money transfer, should be resolved through negotiations and in court according to legislation of Ukraine.


1- Taxpayer identification code must provide to the Branch staff in case of sending a transfer in the amount equal to or exceeding equivalent UAH 30 000 or in other cases in accordance with Ukrainian legislation.

Information on the conditions for providing payment services for transferring funds without opening an account using Western Union, Meest payment systems and the "Raiffeisen Express" transfer scheme

The service related to sending and receiving transfers via Western Union is provided on the terms and conditions of adhesion contract, which is an application for the transfer sending/receipt according to the form defined by Western Union. The application for the transfer sending/receipt may not be changed or amended.

The Customer- initiator of the transfer has the right to refuse to conclude the agreement before the funds under the transfer are provided to the cash-desk of the Bank.

The amount of costs subject to payment by the customer and/or the procedure of its calculation, including taxes, are defined in the Tariffs:

Out-of-court consideration of the customers’ complaints is carried out through the consideration by the Bank of the customers’ complaints and applications according to the procedure and within the period defined in the law of Ukraine On applications of citizens.

The guarantee funds and compensation schemes are not stipulated in the law of Ukraine as regards the provision of the respective service to the Customer (unless the amount of the transfer is credited to the customer’s account opened in the Bank).
