A terminal in a smartphone or mobile terminal – is an acquiring technology used to accept cashless payments via smartphone or tablet with NFC function.

It is a convenient function for small businesses: compact merchant’s points, couriers, sales representatives, freelancers and other people providing on-site services. From now on you can accept payments anywhere!

How to use your smartphone as a terminal?

You should take only several steps to use your smartphone as a mobile payment:

Step 1. Download and install RaiPos application to the device supporting payments acceptance via NFC.

Step 2. Read about the application functionality and agree to the installing of the second application – “tapXphone”.

Step 3. Enter the required information: name of the acquiring bank (Raiffeisen Bank), login, password, payment terminal initialization and activation code. After that set a new password for authorization.

Step 4. Read the instruction for the application use and start using acquiring for a smartphone. Receive fast and mobile funds transfers from customers as a payment for goods and services.


In order to take advantage of the service, you must:

  • Have a telephone with Android operation system of version 10.0 with NFC function
  • Submit an application to the Bank here 
  • Sign an agreement for receipt of payments with the Bank
  • After the registration of the Merchant point with the Bank, download  “RaiPos” application and "TapXphone" application on Play Market



Configuring and using the service

For the first login to “RaiPos” mobile application, you must act according to the Guidelines


The Guidelines on the use of the application:

- How to swipe the card correctly

- How to carry out the transactions

- How to carry out the “Day Closing” and what for

How to perform a transaction via smartphone:

  • Log in to “RaiPos” application
  • Enter the transaction amount
  • Place the customer’s payment device on the front side, where the contactless payment symbol is located

    Send the cheque to the customer by one of the following methods:
    - Share the receipt by sending it using standard iPhone methods via email or any messenger (Viber, WhatsApp etc.)
    - open on the phone screen
    - open QR code
