A collection is an intermediary banking transaction involving the conveyance of money from payer to beneficiary via a bank for subsequent crediting to the beneficiary's account. It is the bank's function to hand over the documents to the payer against payment on presentation, against the acceptance of a bill of exchange or on other terms

Guarantee that the documents will be transferred to the buyer in exchange for payment of the goods. Payments must be feasible not as a prepayment, but only on the basis of documents, which guarantee delivery of goods according to the conditions stipulated in the contract.
