You Matter!
At Raiffeisen Bank, inclusion, diversity, and accessibility are core to our corporate culture. Our motto “You Matter” reflects our respect for each person, their individuality, and uniqueness. Every team member at Raif is a one-of-a-kind personality with their own experience and ideas, helping us move towards common goals. We want everyone on our team to feel they belong and that their contribution is valued.
We respect and support everyone — employees, clients, and partners — regardless of race, nationality, age, religion, sexual orientation, or gender identity.
Raif is open to hiring veterans and people with disabilities. We aim to create a work environment that’s inclusive for all, offering access to opportunities for personal and professional growth.
Our mission is to ensure that every person, regardless of their identity or background, feels part of a team that drives progress and achieves shared goals.
For 33 years, Raif has been developing financial products and services
that are accessible to everyone.
We’ve invested over 100 million UAH to upgrade our branches for barrier-free access:
Information about inclusive branches and ATMs is available on our website and in the MyRaif app.
Our employees receive special training to serve clients with visual or hearing impairments, ensuring equal service for all. Additionally, our contact center provides sign language interpretation for clients with hearing impairments.
We stand with Ukraine — supporting defenders and veterans is one of Raif’s key priorities. In 2023, Raiffeisen Bank was named one of Forbes’ Top 25 Veteran-Friendly Employers, thanks to our comprehensive support and reintegration program.
Our efforts to support veterans and defenders are focused on:
We stand by our colleagues — over 216 employees have been mobilized, including 20 women. Here’s how we support them:
Job positions are retained during their service
Average monthly salary is paid throughout the period
Financial assistance for those wounded, including access to treatment and rehabilitation at a clinic
A dedicated fund for financial support covering gear or family needs
Remote psychological and legal consultations available for mobilized employees and their families
Ongoing contact and support from teammates throughout their service
We deeply understand the importance of helping those who have defended our country. That’s why we provide all-round support — both during military service and after returning to civilian life. All veteran-focused initiatives at Raif are coordinated by our dedicated veteran officer, Nataliia, who personally supports every veteran in our team.
We warmly welcome our colleagues back to civilian life and are also happy to invite veterans from outside the company to join our team. For people with disabilities, we are ready to adapt workspaces and offer flexible conditions to meet their individual needs.
Raif’s Veteran Support Program includes:
The Charity Run on the Day of Remembrance of Ukraine’s Defenders has become a heartfelt tradition at Raif. It's our way of honoring fallen Hero-colleagues and supporting their families — an annual initiative we proudly continue.
In 2024, 114 employees from across Ukraine took part in the event. Artem Shtanko, Audit Expert, shared:"I'm grateful to our bank for the opportunity to take part in the Charity Run. For me, it's deeply personal — my brother died in the war, and this is a chance to honor him and everyone who is defending our country. God willing, we will win."

Raif funded the creation of two important handbooks: “Talk to Me” and “Tactical Communication for Business: Customer Service During Wartime.” Over 10,000 copies have already been distributed through our branches.
A charitable project supporting small businesses in Ukraine, with a focus on engaging veterans, military families, and IDPs in entrepreneurship. So far, 103 veteran-owned businesses have received funding.
Raif prioritizes veteran entrepreneurs in tender procurement processes. This approach is now officially embedded in our supplier selection procedures.
As part of a working group at the Ministry of Economy, we helped develop recommendations for employers on how to create reintegration policies for service members returning to civilian life.
