Kyiv purchased equipment for disinfection of public places with the help of Raif

Raiffeisen Bank Aval, in cooperation with the League of Banks of Ukraine, provided charitable assistance for purchasing of high-quality equipment for public places disinfection in Kyiv - Kärcher high-pressure apparatus.

The amount of charitable assistance from Raif amounted to over UAH 1.4 million.

"Our joint efforts should prevent the spread of COVID-19. It`s the main reason why Raiffeisen Bank Aval decided to provide financial assistance on purchasing of this equipment, – noted Natalia Marchenko, Head of the Executive Department and Communications Division at Raif. "We hope that such initiatives will help everyone return to normal life as soon as possible", – she added.

The equipment was handed over to KARS «Kyiv Rescue Service». The demonstration test took place last Friday, when rescuers sanitized the underpass near Dorogozhychi metro station.

“From the very beginning of quarantine, KARS has been actively involved in the sanitation of public places. Despite the fact that the incidence rate of COVID-19 in Kyiv has decreased recently, we will continue to carry out sanitation with new equipment, thanks to the League of Banks of Ukraine. This equipment allows us to perform many different procedures, but the highest priority function of Kärcher is the ability to disinfect territory quickly and efficiently", - said Roman Tkachuk, the director of Municipal Security Department of Kyiv City State Administration.

The high-pressure device with water heating HDS is mounted on car trailer, therefore it is convenient to use at municipal and industrial enterprises. Eco-efficiency mode reduces operating costs and helps to protect our environment. The device is independent from electricity and water supply.
