We – Aval – Raiffeisen Bank Aval – Raiffeisen Bank Ukraine are a Ukrainian bank.

For more than 30 years already, since the first years of independence of Ukraine, we have been creating and building the banking system of our country. We are and remain one of the biggest banks of the country, a reliable partner for millions of Ukrainians.

We are a separate legal entity acting in accordance with the law of Ukraine and respecting all requirements of the martial law in Ukraine.

The Bank stopped relations with customers and money having Russian and Belarussian origin. We support sanctions against the aggressor country.

We were with Ukraine at the most difficult times – in 1994, when everything has just started, in 2004, in 2008 and in 2014. And today, in the wartime, we help to defend our land. We ensure cashflow, protect carefully deposits and accounts, support lending in the critical areas of the economy. The country needs that fields are sowed, that the fuel is brought, that alimentary goods and medicines are accessible in every city, town and village. That you are able to make money transfers to your family and relatives, as well as to receive money transfers, that, even being abroad, you have access to your own funds. We are ensuring the critical infrastructure under martial law conditions.

We support humanitarian mission of the Red Cross and participate in fundraising to help refugees.

People from different countries work at the Bank and all of us are patriots of Ukraine. The Bank’s team works with dedication under war-time conditions, sharing with every Ukrainian hardships, pain of losses and pride for the country.

We are a part of a big international network. Our shareholders - Raiffeisen Bank International and the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development strongly condemned unjustified and bloody aggression of the Russian Federation against the sovereignty of the Ukrainian state. Since the first hours of the war, we are receiving incredible support of our colleagues from Austria, Poland, Romania, Czech Republic, Slovak Republic, Hungary, Croatia, Bosnia and Herzegovina.
