Raiffeisen Bank supports NBU information campaign to promote cashless payments

The all-Ukrainian information campaign to promote non-cash payments #Cashless, conducted by the National Bank with its partners, has started. As the part of campaign, Ukrainians will be told about the possibilities of widespread use of non-cash payments.

The purpose of campaign is to inform Ukrainians about all benefits of cashless payments.

"The National Bank has consistently pursued the policy aimed at increasing the share of non-cash payments. We have developed the Roadmap on non-cash economy development until 2025, providing the gradual transition of Ukraine to Cashless economy by stimulating non-cash expenditures, reducing cash use and ensuring the sustainability of payment infrastructure, " – said Arsen Makarchuk, Director of Strategy and Development Department in the NBU.

Raiffeisen Bank supports the information campaign, as the bank focuses on developing financial innovations to create better services and products for it`s clients.

"85% of Raiffeisen Bank customer transactions are non-cash and the volume of such transactions is growing every year. Keeping in mind the digital transformation of Raiffeisen Bank today, the popularization of cashless is more relevant than ever," – said Lilia Zubarieva, director of communications and public relations department in Raiffeisen Bank.

For educational purposes, the National Bank has also launched landing "Cashless" with detailed information about the campaign and non-cash payments.
