Raiffeisen Bank Has Developed an Inclusion Strategy Through 2030

Raiffeisen Bank has developed its Inclusion Strategy 2030, which defines the Bank's long-term approach to delivering accessible, inclusive, and user-friendly financial services.

The Bank's vision is to be a financial partner without barriers, empowering and connecting people and businesses.

For Raiffeisen Bank, this means ensuring that every customer receives high-quality service regardless of their abilities or life circumstances. It also means equipping employees with the skills and confidence to serve people with diverse needs and embedding inclusion into the Bank's operating model as a core business standard.

This approach builds on the principle that everyone is different, everyone is equal. Differences in people's experiences, needs, or life circumstances should never become barriers to accessing financial services, respect, support, or opportunities.

The Inclusion Strategy is aligned with the National Bank of Ukraine's approach to inclusive financial services, Ukraine's National Barrier-Free Strategy, and the social changes driven by the full-scale war and the evolving needs of customers.

As part of the Strategy, the Bank has defined three long-term strategic priorities:

  1. Embed inclusion by design into every product, service, channel, and customer journey.

  2. Become one of the top three banks of choice for veterans, women entrepreneurs, people with disabilities, and other underserved groups that may face barriers to accessing financial services.

  3. Be an inclusive employer, providing equal opportunities for people to work and grow while embedding inclusion across HR, operational, and business practices.

Raiffeisen Bank has already established a strong foundation for delivering inclusive financial services. This includes barrier-free physical infrastructure, accessible digital and remote banking channels, employee training, tailored solutions for customers with diverse needs, dedicated support for veterans and veteran-owned businesses, initiatives promoting women's entrepreneurship, strategic partnerships, and programmes designed to improve access to financial services for customers who may face barriers.

Going forward, Raif will continue to systematically expand inclusive solutions across its products, services, channels, communications, and customer journeys, building on its own experience, the expertise of its partners, regulatory guidance, and the real needs of its customers.

For Raiffeisen Bank, inclusion is an essential element of responsible, high-quality, and sustainable banking. It is about respect, accessibility, and the Bank's ability to stay closer to the evolving needs of people, businesses, and society.
