Raiffeisen Bank Aval becomes Raiffeisen Bank

Starting from June 17, 2021 Raiffeisen Bank Aval Joint Stock Company officially changes its name to Raiffeisen Bank Joint Stock Company.

Raiffeisen Bank continues to perform its obligations to the customers and contractors as the successor of Raiffeisen Bank Aval. There is no need to apply to the branches to reissue cards or amend the earlier provided documents in view of the change of the bank’s name, the Bank operates in a standard mode.

“The name of the bank becomes simpler, the same as everything for our customers – our products and services should be simpler, - comments Oleksandr Pysaruk, Chairman of the Management Board of Raiffeisen Bank. – We continue our transformation, it is a part of our strategy. By simplifying things, we emphasize that our bank belongs to a large international financial group. Thus, we become more simple while remaining reliable”.

Raiffeisen Bank JSC – is the biggest Ukrainian bank with foreign investments, which functions in Ukraine since 1992. 

Starting from October 2005 the bank is a part of the foreign banking group Raiffeisen Bank International AG (Austria). As of the end of March 2021, RBI Group owned 68.28% of the shares of Raiffeisen Bank, and the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development owned 30%.

Wide range of banking services is provided to 2.6 mio customers of Raiffeisen Bank via the nationwide network, which includes 393 branches and approximately 1800 ATMs around Ukraine, as well as mobile applications Raiffeisen Online and Raiffeisen Business Online.
