Raiffeisen Bank Aval is again the most active issuing bank under TFP
Kyiv. May 14. — Raiffeisen Bank Aval was again awarded by European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD) as “The most active issuing bank in Ukraine”, as well as “The most active issuing bank in 2018 – Green Trade”.
Raiffeisen Bank Aval received these awards due to the issue of the largest amount of transactions under the Trade Facilitation Programme (TFP) implemented by EBRD, as well as Green TFP established in 2016.
Raiffeisen Bank Aval was awarded during the 20th anniversary awarding ceremony for partner banks in the framework of EBRD annual meeting and business forum that took place last week in Sarajevo (Bosnia and Herzegovina).
“It is really a great success for us’’, outlined Kateryna Shulha, head of Trade Finance Department of Raiffeisen Bank Aval, who attended the ceremony and received the awards on behalf of the Bank. “A quarter of all “green” transactions issued under TFP were carried out in Raiffeisen Bank Aval. We received two out of four awards awarded to the banks of Raiffeisen Bank International Group. In addition to this, Raiffeisen Bank Aval is the only bank that got two awards during the ceremony. We are grateful to our longstanding partner EBRD for support and fruitful cooperation since 2001. We hope that this partnership will help our bank to continue contributing to the economic development and growth of Ukraine”.
