Employees of Raiffeisen Bank Aval joined the Vyshyvanka Run

Kyiv. 28 August. – On 24 August, Ukraine’s Independence Day, a corporate team of Raiffeisen Bank Aval took part in the all-Ukrainian “Vyshyvanka Run”, organized at the support of the Sports Federation and the Ukrainian Chamber of Commerce and Industry.

This year, the event has been held for the six time and gathered about 2,000 grown ups and children. Every participant chose a distance for this patriotic run on his own: from 100 meters to 10 kilometers. The bank’s team has participated in this special celebration of Ukraine’s Independence Day for the second year running. Some of the employees ran together with their family members.

“Vyshyvanka Run” is more than sport and patriotism. The funds, raised within the framework of the event, were transferred for purchasing medicines for cancer-ill children.

Thus, the sportsmen of the bank, in addition to bright emotions, had an opportunity to help seriously ill children, who need a costly treatment.

Apart from Kyiv, the “Vyshyvanka Run” event was also simultaneously held in a number of other cities of Ukraine, namely: Rivne, Mykolaiv, Odessa, Nova Kakhovka, Kherson, Sumy, Chernihiv, Kryvy Rih, Khust. The idea was also enthusiastically supported by Ukrainian people abroad, particularly in the USA – similar runs took place in Washington and New York.
