Fairo in Ukraine: the new app helping FOP/freelancers be more efficient and make more money was launched
Fairo, an all-in-one mobile app for freelancers and small and medium-sized business owners to control their business operations on the go, was officially launched in Ukraine. Current version provides users with invoicing and bookkeeping functions. Other essential services such as tax reporting will be available in September. This will be combined with the most popular banking services by the end of the year.
The app is available to be downloaded in the App Store and Google Play.
Compared to employees, freelancers believe they are in charge of their success and that their position provides more opportunities for upward mobility. They even feel happier in their lifestyle and healthier, according to the Payoneer, 2020 Freelancer Income Report. On the other hand, they are worried about income instability, putting enough money into savings, feeling uncomfortable about where and how to pay taxes, and struggling with jumping between different software and apps for business.
Fairo is an innovative service powered by Raiffeisen Bank International, the majority owner of Raiffeisen Bank Aval, and developed by Creative Dock Austria, an international company builder. The project will be launched in Central and Eastern Europe, the first market chosen is Ukraine, and will be a groundbreaking service in the region. Fairo users do not need to be Raiffeisen Bank Aval clients to sign up to Fairo.
“Our mission is to help freelancers make more money, be more efficient and live happier lives by providing them an ultimate all-in-one solution for managing their business and money on the go. With a full digital onboarding and features tailor made for the needs of modern freelancers, we want to remove hassles connected to administration and save them time and nerves on paperwork and taxes,” explains Igor Prerovsky, CEO Creative Dock Austria.
“We are constantly striving to achieve superior customer experience and are fully committed to building products that add value and simplify people’s businesses and lives. We recognise the challenges that freelancers face and that is why we decided to bring this innovative app to the market”, explains Andrii Stepanenko, Member of the Management Board Retail, Raiffeisen Bank International.
Fairo provides Ukrainian freelancers with essential business functions. Simple full digital onboarding, creating professional invoices with a few clicks, tracking the payments, automatic notifications about the invoice status, sending tax reports and adding the bank details into the ledger is available on the go in one intuitive app.
Ukrainians have also participated in creating Fairo. For example, the Ukrainian CTO and team lead of IT delivery and many other Ukrainian professionals and freelancers took their part in creating Fairo app from design to testing.
