Up to 35% increased the size of grants for housing insulation for the IQ energy

Kiev. July 11th. - The European Bank for Reconstruction and Development has more than doubled the amount of compensation under the IQ energy program, which is aimed at upgrading and warming housing. At the same time, the maximum grant amount available to one individual remained unchanged and amounts to 3,000 euros.

During the press conference today, Shevki Ajuner, Director of the EBRD in Ukraine, recalled the objectives of the IQ energy program: and, which is much more important in the long run, to consciously move towards the rational use of energy resources through the use of modern energy efficient technologies. ”

Compensation will be paid within 3-5 weeks after confirmation of the electronic application. It can be obtained not only for the main equipment, but also for related products, as well as the cost of installation work, if they were purchased on credit from the partner banks of the program, together with the main equipment. Cooperation agreements on the IQ energy program have been signed with Raiffeisen Bank Aval, UkrSibbank and OTP Bank. Compensation can be obtained when purchasing goods using credit cards at the expense of credit funds from Raiffeisen Bank Aval or OTP Bank.

Vladimir Lavrenchuk, Chairman of the Board of Raiffeisen Bank Aval, said: “It is important that the IQ energy program is massive. We are pleased to note that compensation will be paid not only to new borrowers, but also to those who have already become customers of our bank. This includes clients who use our credit cards, which means the amount of loans already agreed upon. There are more than 300 thousand such potential participants in our bank and we expect that several thousand of them will take advantage of this program until the end of this year. ”

Head of IQ energy program Oksana Bulgakova presented a new category for which compensation can be obtained during housing modernization - recuperators: minimizing heat loss in the residential sector and increasing the level of comfort ”.

The IQ energy program (IQ Energy) was developed by the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD), funded by the E5P Partnership with the support of the European Union. The total amount of compensation for the insulation of housing - 15 million euros. The goal of the program is to improve the energy efficiency of the Ukrainian housing sector.

The EBRD is the largest international financial investor in Ukraine. Since its inception in the country in 1993, the Bank has committed itself to provide almost € 12 billion in 369 projects.
