Raiffeisen Bank launches a charity program Kids Safe Haven for Ukrainian kids
This program is implemented with the involvement of the benefactors and is aimed at the improvement of the quality of life of the Ukrainian kids and support of their development. Stepic CEE Charity (Austria) will be one of the first benefactors of the program.
Every child deserves safe living conditions, high-quality education and the possibility to take care of their health. Kids Safe Haven is launched to help meet those needs.
The program Kids Safe Haven has three main directions:
1. Repairs and renovation of the buildings and property used for the kids’ education, medical treatment and living. Raiffaisen Bank will help to set up within the frames of this program comfortable and safe places for kids to spend time.
2. Education and learning aimed at the extension and ensuring of the high-quality and safe education for children in Ukraine.
3. Recovery and rehabilitation for kids that need recovery and rehabilitation after physical injures and psychological traumas, including war victims. It includes medical treatment, psychological support and other measures aimed at the improvement of their condition.
Kids Safe Haven helps:
- pre-school educational institutions;
- educational institutions of primary and secondary education;
- hospitals;
- orphanages;
- dormitories;
- other social infrastructure facilities;
- charitable funds.
The Program only started functioning and already has the first successful case of the grant issue to Lviv Regional Children's Hospital "OKHMATDYT". The charitable assistance in the amount of UAH 200 000 was provided within the frames of the program for the purchase of surgical instruments. 55 surgical instruments have been purchased with the allocated funds to be used for operations and a wide range of medical tasks.
