With the support of Raiffeisen Bank Aval in the Luhansk region held a musical-literary festival "Road to the East"

Kiev. April 12. — With the support of Raiffeisen Bank Aval at the end of March in three cities of Luhansk region — Novopskov, Svatov and Starobilsk-held a music and literature festival "Road to the East".

The initiator and inspirer of the event was the writer, poet and musician Sergey Zhadan.

All participants of the festival were about 30 musicians and writers from Kharkov and Kiev, among them: the art Association "the Last barricade", the group "Dogs in space" and Kozak System led by Ivan lenyo, "Orchestra Che", "Papa Carlo", "Urbanistan", singer, artist and public figure Angelica Rudnitskaya, composer Boris Sevastyanov, as well as poets Dmitry Lazutkin and Artem Polezhaka. Active participation in the project was also attended by local activists, volunteers and musical groups from Svatove, Starobilsk, Severodonetsk and Novopskov.

During the festival, which took place every day in a new city, there were literary readings in local libraries and educational institutions, concerts in military units, the transfer of assistance to local hospitals, as well as evening concerts. Another focus of the event was the transfer of books to local libraries, carried out with the support of publishers "smoloskip" and Meridian Czernowitz.
