A special award from Raiffeisen Bank Aval was given to the winner of the festival " Open Night-Take 19»

Kiev. June 29. - Raiffeisen Bank Aval once again supported the holding of the Open night — Take 19 film festival, which took place on the night of 25-26 June.

As in previous years, the main platform was Artprichal in Kiev on the Dnieper embankment, and parallel screenings and broadcasts of the works of young Ukrainian filmmakers presented in the competition could be seen at about 60 sites in Ukraine and other countries, including-in Krakow, London, Manchester, Tiraspol, Ljubljana, Brno, Minsk and Karaganda.

"Open Night" from the first take in 1997 was founded as a festival of Ukrainian cinema. The traditional night program consists of short films of domestic production – student, diploma, debut, professional and even Amateur.

This year, the festival "Open Night" together with traditional films in the framework of the international program held a screening of Czech films and a workshop with Czech Director Robin Kvapil.

The festival ended with an honorary award ceremony. The winners of special nominations received not only diplomas, but also cash rewards.

Grand Prix of the festival in the amount of 50 thousand UAH from Raiffeisen Bank Aval received a documentary film "Volunteers of war" directed by Julia Shashkova. This film shows how volunteers cope with today's challenges, talks about the importance of volunteering in the modern realities of Ukraine on the example of the old Cossack village Arbors.

Concluding the 19th "Double" of the festival, its founder and permanent organizer Mikhail Ilyenko thanked all the participants, sponsors and organizers, and stressed the importance of the return of the Ukrainian audience to the Ukrainian cinema.
