The power of women's leadership in the revival of manufacturing
The history of the perfume and cosmetic company PE "UNIKS" is an example of Ukrainian resilience, where women's partnership, mutual support and professionalism overcame the most difficult trials of war.
For the company, this path of struggle began back in 2014, when Tetyana Byts' business partner was forced to leave her native Luhansk region due to Russian aggression. Having lost her home, but not her professional drive and thirst for development, she found a common goal with Tatyana. Having combined efforts, energy and experience, the partners managed to build a strong business and turn the enterprise in Makarov, Kyiv region into a powerful production center.
However, in February 2022, the war again tested their strength. Makarov found himself at the epicenter of fierce fighting, and the company's production facilities suffered critical destruction. When the prospect of revival seemed unrealistic to many, Tetiana Byts, together with her partner and a united team, showed iron endurance: they dismantled the rubble with their own hands and prepared the workshops for reconstruction.
Participation in the state program "Affordable loans 5-7-9%" became a significant financial lever for the recovery of the destroyed business. Thanks to the involved preferential financing, the company was able to finance the purchase of the necessary equipment, replenish working capital and restart production lines. This became a strategic social step for the community - today the enterprise works confidently and provides stable employment for more than 50 specialists.
"When we first entered the destroyed factory, our hands fell for a moment. But I looked at our team, at the people who believed in us and were waiting for work, and understood: to stop means to give up. We started almost from scratch, cleaned every meter of the shop by ourselves. Timely support of the state program "5-7-9%" and faith in people helped us to endure. Our restart proved that Ukrainian business cannot be destroyed as long as there is partnership unity and a common goal."
Today, PE "UNIKS" is a modern high-tech production, certified according to strict international quality standards ISO 22716:2007 (GMP) and ISO 9001:2015:

The experience of PE "UNIKS" clearly proves: the synergy of female entrepreneurship, indomitable character and effective state financial instruments is capable of transforming ruins into new large-scale development and creating a high-quality national product of the European level.
