The registration for the webinar: “Intellectual Property and Protection Thereof on the International Markets” is now open

Raiffeisen Bank, VISA and European Business Association (EBA) continue the series of the webinars on the educational platform for entrepreneurs SME ONLINE Hub within the framework of the joint project Unlimit Ukraine.

During the next webinar that will be held on September 25, the entrepreneurs will have the opportunity to get to know about the main intellectual property rights protection strategies and tools both in Ukraine and abroad, receive practical advice in terms of execution of the intellectual property objects disposal agreements and building the strategies to counter intellectual property rights violations on the international markets.

We invite you to discuss this topic online together with Iryna An, head of the intellectual property practice of Prikhodko and Partners Law Firm.

During the webinar, we will deal with the following issues:

•how to execute and register correctly the trademarks, copyrights, patents, industrial designs, utility models, know-how and other IP objects in Ukraine;

•how to receive the protection in specific countries, in which you conduct and scale your business and what are the peculiarities of the international IP rights protection on particular markets;

•how do international agreements and organizations (TRIPS, WIPO, Paris Convention) function and what is the right way to submit the applications and to register in the international systems;

•how to conclude license, IP rights assignment agreements, franchise agreements on the international markets;

•how to hold negotiations with the offenders, to present in the due manner the legal claims on cessation of the violations, to apply mediation, arbitration and judicial protection for an efficient response to IP rights violations.
