Raiffeisen Bank joined the FinLit Forum organized by the National Bank of Ukraine

Raiffeisen Bank joined the FinLit Forum organized by the National Bank of Ukraine to showcase how educational initiatives can transform everyday financial habits and strengthen the cyber resilience of Ukrainians.

Kateryna Mashchenko, Information Security Expert of Raiffesien Bank, shared the experience of implementing the RASP program, which helps enhance cyber awareness among employees, bank clients, and the wider public, encouraging safe online behavior. “Cybersecurity starts not with technology, but with behavior. When people understand how fraud schemes work, they make fewer mistakes and more informed decisions,” Kateryna emphasized.

Maryna Selina, Manager for Adaptive Practices Implementation of the Bank, spoke about organizing financial literacy trainings for diverse audiences — from schoolchildren to seniors, both online and offline. “Financial literacy works where there are real-life scenarios: family budgeting, teenagers’ first payment cards, choosing a service, assessing risks. The closer education is to reality, the faster it becomes a habit,” Maryna noted.

Raiffeisen Bank is grateful to the National Bank of Ukraine for the opportunity to present its initiatives and learn from peers at the FinLit Forum. The bank will continue to develop open educational projects, share its cybersecurity expertise, and promote a culture of responsible financial decision-making.
