Raiffeisen Bank Aval purchased personal protective equipment for Ivano-Frankivsk doctors

Kyiv. April 27. — Raiffeisen Bank Aval has provided assistance in the form of personal protective equipment for medical professionals at the Rozhnyativ Central District Hospital and the Center for Primary Medical Assistance at the Rozhnyativ District Council of Ivano-Frankivsk region.

Ivano-Frankivsk region was one of the first regions of Ukraine, where the spread of coronavirus was detected, and now it takes one of the first positions in Ukraine by the number of coronavirus infected people. Therefore, Raiffeisen Bank Aval has provided charitable assistance and purchased personal protective clothing  to healthcare professionals who are at the epicenter of the pandemic every day.

Earlier, Raiffeisen Bank Aval has handed over protective clothing kits to Uzhgorod Regional Clinical Infectious Hospital. Besides, Raiffeisen Bank Aval, in cooperation with Caritas Ukraine, has provided assistance in the amount of UAH 250,000 to the benefit of the Chernivtsi region.  The bank has also acquired three AVEA artificial lungs ventilation machines produced in the USA for the Kyiv City Hospital #9 and the Chernivtsi Regional Hospital. Together with Visa, the bank transferred UAH 1 million for the purchase of protection facilities to four hospitals in Zhytomyr, Lviv, Kharkiv and Kherson regions. Assistance from the bank in the form of means of protection and payment of transport services has been also received by Kyiv doctors treating cancer patients.
