Raiffeisen Bank Aval continues lending to agro business of Ukraine

Kyiv. March 27. – Despite the uncertainty and deterioration of the economic situation, Raiffeisen Bank Aval currently continues not only supporting its small and medium business customers experiencing problems with the repayment of their loans, but also active lending to business customers.

Raiffeisen Bank Aval remains the largest agro business lender in Ukraine. It continues lending even in the current difficult conditions, in order to support the country’s agrarian sector. Over the last three weeks alone, the bank has provided new loans to small and medium business companies for almost UAH 1 bn.

Large companies also get financing from the bank for the support of their operations. Corporate business managers of Raiffeisen Bank Aval constantly keep in touch with representatives of large business to provide them with the necessary support on an individual basis.

Business customers and large corporations operating in the agrarian sector are strategically important for the country’s economy in view of their role in ensuring the employment of the population, contribution to GDP and export revenue.

Oleksandr Pysaruk, Chairman of the Board of Raiffeisen Bank Aval, emphasizes: “The effectiveness of the economy’s functioning depends, primarily, on the optimum development of small, medium and large business.
