Raiffeisen Bank Aval acted as a sponsor of solemn opening of Lviv Opera’s jubilee season

Lviv. 29 August.  – Raiffeisen Bank Aval and Lviv Opera and Ballet Theatre after Solomia Krushelnytska have had a close cooperation for over 10 years.

On the eve of Ukraine’s Independence Day, the Lviv National Opera solemnly opened its jubilee 120th theatre season with a festive concert on a square in front of the theatre.  

Traditionally, during the concert the audience was addressed by heads of the region and the city of Lviv and managers of the theatre.

At the concert, there were played compositions by the Ukrainian composers Mykola Lysenko, Semen Hulak-Artemovsky, Yuliy Meitus, Yevhen Stankovych performed by soloists of the Lviv Opera and the symphonic orchestra under the conduction of Mykhailo Dutchak, Myron Yusypovych, Iryna Stasyshyn, Yuriy Bervetsky.

The concert also included fragments of the premieres to be held during the theatre season 2019-2020: operas by Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart, Jacques Offenbach and Ivan Nebesniy, a Ukrainian composer.  

After the concert, a legendary performance “When Fern Blossoms” by Yevhen Stankovych was shown on a big screen at the theatre square.  

Raiffeisen Bank Aval willingly supported festive events of the legendary theatre by providing a sponsor aid.                                                                                                    

The bank also supports many other important culture and art projects in Ukraine.
