Raiffeisen Bank Aval again noted as the most active issuing Bank in Ukraine under the TFP programme

Kiev. May 24. — the European Bank for reconstruction and development once again recognized Raiffeisen Bank Aval as the most active issuing Bank in Ukraine under the program of assistance to development of trade (TFP) results in  2015.

In the framework of the TFP in the past year, the Bank has conducted 115 export-import transactions of Bank's customers amounting to about 76 million dollars. USA.

the Awarding ceremony took place on 10 may 2016 at the London (UK) in the framework of the 25th annual meeting of EBRD and business forum. Nick Tesseyman, managing Director, responsible for working with financial institutions EBRD, presented the award to the head of trade Finance Raiffeisen Bank Aval Serhiy Kostogriz, which has more than 11 years responsible for the direction of documentary operations and trade Finance at the Bank, and since December 2015 appointed Chairperson of the ICC Ukraine Commission on banking techniques and practices.

For Raiffeisen Bank Aval this is not the first award received from EBRD under TFP and repeated confirmation, trade Finance remains one of the priority directions of Bank activity. Individual approach to customer needs, focus on establishing long-term and mutually beneficial relations, expertise in trade Finance, documentary credit, guarantee and factoring operations, as well as the availability of highly qualified specialists, certified by the International chamber of Commerce, are indisputable components of the success of Raiffeisen Bank Aval.

Programme of assistance to trade development the EBRD was founded in 1999. Raiffeisen Bank Aval became the first Bank in Ukraine and one of the first in the world, who joined the program in 2001. Since 2003 the Bank has received numerous awards and distinctions EBRD on the results of its activities in the field of trade Finance. In particular, Raiffeisen Bank Aval was awarded as the most active issuing Bank in Ukraine and the most active confirming Bank in Ukraine by the number of issued and supported by operations, the most active Bank in financing Ukrainian imports.
