Raiffeisen Bank Aval has conducted training on financial literacy for teenagers

Kiev. 6 Oct. — Raiffeisen Bank Aval continues to carry out trainings under the project, financial literacy training "Funds wisely for young adults”.

the Next training session was held last week in the premises of the Financial Academy of Raiffeisen Bank Aval. This time the event was held in an unusual format: in the role of coach debuted thirteen-year-old Maxim Chemerisky, member of the program Leadership Kids Camp. He spoke about the history of money and types of inflation, the need and desire, and what role does money play in our lives. Maxim had a game aimed at mastering the skills of correct selection of its own financial priorities.

the Participants were 20 girls and boys. In Mr.’five hours of lessons they have gained knowledge about how to plan their own expenses; to form a personal budget; to correctly define the financial goal and what tools will help in this; the advantages and difficulties of their own business; features of employment and the like.

“the Aim of our training with financial literacy – in addition to raising awareness among teenagers in Finance – is getting teenagers skills competent management of personal finances», — says Vadim Domanchuk, project Manager. — “We do not read a boring lecture, and pay attention to practical problems and discussion of them, sort of a networking. This approach is due to the fact that most Teens are already versed in financial terminology, but don't know how to use financial instruments”.

as a coach to the event was also joined by the representative of the Visa company Maxim Korshenyuk, who taught how to make payments, what tools there are for this, and held a master class on the topic of running your own business.
