Raiffeisen Bank Aval supported the II International forum of local development

lions. June 26.- Raiffeisen Bank Aval for the second time became a partner of II International forum of local development, which for three days — from 23 to 25 June — was held in Truskavets in Lviv region.

About 400 participants from Ukraine, Poland, Hungary and Romania at the highest level discussed topics of regional development of the Carpathians, decentralization and operation of local governments.

the Central themes of the Forum were the new macroregional strategy for the Carpathians development; interregional and cross-border cooperation of the countries of the region; the reform of decentralization in Ukraine; alternative energy; development of small and medium businesses; development of tourism and cooperation in the field of culture.

in addition, the event was an open platform for successful dialogue and negotiations between senior officials from different countries. Among the participants — speakers of Polish and Ukrainian parliaments, MPs, representatives of ministries, diplomatic agencies, and local governments, non-governmental organizations from Ukraine and other countries.
