Raiffeisen Bank Aval signed an agreement with EBRD on joining the program of financing energy IQ

Kiev. 6 Feb. — Raiffeisen Bank Aval signed an agreement today with the European Bank for reconstruction and development on joining the program of financing of energy efficiency IQ.

This program is implemented with the support of the Fund Eastern European partnership on energy efficiency and environment (E5P), the largest contributor of which is the European Union (EU) and the Swedish Agency for international development cooperation (Sida).

part of the Raiffeisen Bank Aval in this program will provide an opportunity to borrowers-to physical persons to receive compensation 15-20% of the amount of their investment on improving the energy efficiency of their homes.

Borrowers who meet the criteria to participate in the program, will receive loans for installation of modern energy-efficient Windows, insulation of walls and roofs, replace boilers with more energy-efficient, installing solar heating systems and many other events.

“Joining Raiffeisen Bank Aval in IQ energy will help our customers to improve their homes and reduce their costs for heat, — said Robert Kossmann, Deputy Chairman of the Board of Raiffeisen Bank Aval. — during the following years, we plan to issue more than 150 million hryvnia of loans under this program. Our clients will be able to participate in the program just by using a credit card Raiffeisen Bank Aval, or make cash loan in near our office”.
