Raiffeisen Bank named one of Ukraine’s best employers in the “Companies Where You Want to Work” ranking

Raiffeisen Bank has been recognised as one of Ukraine’s best employers in the “Companies Where You Want to Work” ranking, compiled by NV and Odgers Ukraine. The study featured 50 large and five medium-sized companies. The Bank was honoured in three categories: support for veterans and their families, employee well-being, and financial and non-financial motivation of the team.
The assessment looked at how employers help veterans return to civilian life, develop their people, promote diversity and inclusion, and respond to crisis situations.
“At our bank, we sincerely value every employee and strive to make their achievements visible not only within the team, but beyond it. Recognition is an important part of our culture, and we do everything we can to ensure that everyone feels valued and heard,” said Viktor Marchenko, Chief People Officer at Raiffeisen Bank.
The Bank employs more than 4,900 people. Its “Raif for You” programme gives employees access to consultations with psychologists, lawyers, and nutritionists. The Bank also offers professional training, mentoring and leadership programmes, and courses for developing digital skills.
A separate focus is support for colleagues serving in the Defence Forces, as well as veterans and their families. The Bank keeps the jobs of mobilised employees and continues to pay their salaries. For veterans, it provides help with returning to work, psychological and legal support, rehabilitation, and workplace adaptation.
During the winter energy crisis, the Bank also organised additional support for its employees. More than a thousand people received warming kits, and some employees were able to take advantage of recovery programmes and temporary work from other locations.
The NV and Odgers Ukraine ranking evaluates employers’ practices in working with their teams, from professional development and motivation to supporting people in difficult life circumstances.
