Raiffeisen Bank included in Forbes ranking of the best employers for veterans
Forbes Ukraine has published its ranking “30 Best Employers for Veterans”. For the second time, Raiffeisen Bank was listed among the companies that are best at creating the conditions needed for professional reintegration of men and women who defended the country.
“The period of returning home from the war is not easy for a veteran, and we do not want our colleagues to face it alone. At Raiffeisen Bank, we create the space where their experience is valued, their needs are catered to, and they have development and career prospects. “You matter” principle means to us that you matter here as a person, as a professional and as a defender of Ukraine”, said Viktor Marchenko, the Head of HR Division of Raiffeisen Bank.
The Bank has a dedicated Veteran Officer position, held by Nataliia Kryzhanivska. She is responsible for supporting the veterans, the development of their adaptation plans, the organization of training, mentorship and recovery. Veteran community meetings are held for the team regularly, which are helpful for exchanging experience and finding solutions to pressing issues.
Raiffeisen Bank employs 56 veterans. Safe working conditions have been created for them, offices adapted to their needs, mental health support and medical insurance programs implemented, an opportunity to get compensation for sports and training costs is provided.
Currently, 271 colleagues from Raif are defending the country. Their jobs are retained, an average monthly salary is paid, medical insurance is provided, and their families’ needs in medication, children’s education, etc. are financed.
Raiffeisen Bank’s inclusion in the Forbes ranking recognizes our systemic efforts to support those defending the country and highlights an important principle: the way a business treats people defines true value of business.
