Raiffeisen Bank became a participant of the government program SvitloDIM

Raiffeisen Bank became a participant of the government program SvitloDIM aimed to support the Ukrainian families and increase resilience of apartment blocks to power outages.
Homeowners associations, property management companies, as well as housing construction, housing and service cooperatives can receive the financing of up to UAH 300 thousand under this program for the purchase of equipment to ensure the resilience of apartment blocks to power outages. In particular, they can purchase petrol, diesel and gas-powered generators, inverters, high-voltage battery management systems, battery units, and solar panels.
“Currently, alternative power sources are used to provide tangible support to meet daily needs of Ukrainians’ households. This refers to the operation of pumps in buildings, heating of homes, and opportunity to stay in contact in critical times. It is important for us that financial solutions help ensure this basic stability. Therefore, Raif became a participant of the government program “SvitloDIM” to provide reliable support to customers in the current environment”, said Olena Shpyrka, head of business banking development of Raiffeisen Bank.
In order to file an application as part of the program, a separate current account in UAH with a special usage mode should be opened with the bank. Such an account can be opened and serviced at no cost, with no commission fees.
After the approval of the application in SvitloDIM program, funds are received to that special account. In order to pay for the equipment, the customer submits a payment instruction and supporting documents to the bank.
As the largest foreign-owned lender to the Ukrainian economy, Raiffeisen Bank continues contributing to the energy system’s decentralization and “green” recovery of Ukraine. The Bank has already approved the clients’ applications for more than UAH 3.6 bn in energy project financing since the start of the full-scale war. The Bank provides such loans under various programs covering all business segments – from small to large business.
"The government program SvitloDIM (the service “Assistance to apartment blocks”) is implemented jointly by the Ministry for Development of Communities and Territories of Ukraine and the Ministry of Digital Transformation of Ukraine together with partner banks”.
