Raiffeisen Bank Signs Two Memoranda at the Carpathian Summit to Prepare €20 Million in Investment Projects

Raiffeisen Bank and Ukraine's Ministry of Economy and Environment signed two memoranda of cooperation during the Carpathian Summit. The documents are aimed at preparing investment projects to support Ukraine's recovery and the development of the Carpathian region.
The first memorandum establishes cooperation under the Project Preparation Facility (PPF) mechanism to build a high-quality pipeline of investment projects ready to attract financing.
The second memorandum focuses on project prepara
tion in the Lviv, Ivano-Frankivsk, Zakarpattia and Chernivtsi regions. The pilot initiative envisages building a project portfolio with a total potential financing volume of up to €20 million.
Priority sectors include energy, logistics, agri-processing, value-added manufacturing, tourism, healthcare and municipal infrastructure.
"Ukraine is entering a stage where success depends not on the number of ideas, but on the quality of prepared projects and the ability to secure financing for them quickly. We want to build an effective mechanism that helps businesses and communities turn promising initiatives into investment-ready projects. This is an important step from planning to concrete results for the country's economy," said Nataliia Gurina, Chairwoman of the Management Board of Raiffeisen Bank.

The memoranda lay the groundwork for long-term cooperation toward Ukraine's economic development and recovery.
