Raiffeisen Bank Aval donated another 250,000 UAH to fight COVID-19

Kyiv. 21 April. — Raiffeisen Bank Aval, in cooperation with Caritas Ukraine provided assistance in the amount of UAH 250,000 to the benefit of the Chernivtsi region, which is most affected by the spread of COVID-19 in Ukraine.

Raiffeisen Bank Aval has joined the Red-White-Red campaign launched by the Austrian Embassy in Ukraine together with the Embassy's Trade Department and Caritas Austria. The aim of this campaign is to enhance medical care and protect medical personnel in the Chernivtsi region while fighting the coronavirus pandemic.

Earlier, Raiffeisen Bank Aval has acquired three AVEA artificial lungs ventilation machines produced in the USA for the Kyiv City Hospital #9 and the Chernivtsi Regional Hospital. Together with Visa, the bank is transferring UAH 1 million for the purchase of protection facilities to four hospitals in Zhytomyr, Lviv, Kharkiv and Kherson regions. Assistance from the bank in the form of means of protection and payment of transport services has been also received by Kyiv doctors treating cancer patients.
