Raif tops the rating of viability of Ukrainian banks again, — “Minfin”

On 18 August, the “Minfin” portal published its quarterly rating of viability of Ukrainian banks based on the results of their performance in 2Q 2020.

Raiffeisen Bank Aval remains the long-term leader of this rating.

The ranking of participant banks is based on a number of indicators characterizing the stress resistance of the banks and the loyalty of depositors, namely: the quality of assets, liquidity, possibility of external support, deposit growth, payment reputation, etc. Ukrainian banks with retail deposit portfolios amounted from UAH 1 billion have become the participants of the rating.

By the results of such analysis, Raiffeisen Bank Aval continues to have the highest rank in the Minfin rating.

This time the rank has even improved – to 4.73 points (the overall assessment of the bank for 1Q 2020 was 4.62 points).

Raif has also topped the ranking of Ukrainian banks according to assessments of experts who were asked what bank they would prefer to place a deposit for over UAH 200,000.  Raiffeisen Bank Aval is among TOP3 leaders of the ranking of Ukrainian banks in terms of loyalty of depositors. The ranking took into account a share of banks at the deposit market, an absolute and a relative measure of the growth of their portfolios of private deposits.

Since the beginning of 2020, the bank has been named “Best Bank in Ukraine” by experts of the reputable international magazines Global Finance, EMEA Finance and Euromoney.

Raiffeisen Bank Aval has topped a number of ratings in Ukraine, namely: the rating of reliability of large Ukrainian banks by the Groshi magazine; the rating of viability of Ukrainian banks by the business portal Mind; the Rating of Reliability (Attractiveness) of Bank Deposits by Standard Rating (Ukraine). And the bank has been also named the best non-state bank in the country according to the rating “50 Leading Ukrainian Banks 2020” by the “Financial Club” company.
