Raiffeisen Bank shared its expertise on economic resilience during wartime at the Aspen Institute Kyiv roundtable

On April 16, the international dialogue “Lessons from Ukraine: Implications for Europe’s Security, Resilience, and Innovation” took place, organized by The Aspen Institute Kyiv in cooperation with Aspen Institute Romania and Aspen Institute Central Europe. Larysa Bondarieva, Deputy Chair of the Management Board of Raiffeisen Bank, participated in the discussion.
The dialogue focused on social cohesion and the protection of human rights in wartime, as well as the evolving interaction between the state, business, and civil society.
Participants emphasized that in times of war, business plays a critical role within the resilience system by ensuring continuity of economic processes, supporting employees, and adapting to new challenges. At the same time, the effectiveness of decisions largely depends on the level of trust and coordination between the state, society, and the private sector.
The event was held in the Aspen format, which closed-door dialogue among diplomats, government officials, business leaders, and civil society representatives, fostering the development of shared approaches to addressing current challenges.
The roundtable was part of the preparation for the Aspen European Strategic Forum in Brussels, where Ukraine contributes to shaping the agenda for Europe.
