RA "Standard-Rating" confirmed the ratings of Raiffeisen Bank Aval at a high level
Kiev. June 22. - The rating Committee Of the rating Agency "Standard-Rating "made a decision on June 21 to update the ratings of JSC"Raiffeisen Bank Aval". This is stated in the message of the Agency.
As in previous periods, the Bank's ratings were confirmed by the Agency at a high level. In particular, the long-term credit rating of Raiffeisen Bank Aval on the national scale has been updated at the level of uaAA+, which confirms the very high creditworthiness of the Bank compared to other Ukrainian borrowers or debt instruments.
The Bank's short-term credit rating has been updated on the national scale at the level of uaK1, which also indicates a high creditworthiness.
Raiffeisen Bank Aval's Deposit rating was confirmed at ua1 on the RA Standard-Rating scale.
The decision to update the ratings of Raiffeisen Bank Aval was made by the Agency based on the results of the analysis of the Bank's results for the first quarter of 2016, as well as special and regular information of the Bank as an Issuer of securities.
As noted in the report of RA "Standard-Rating", in the first quarter of 2016 the Bank's assets increased by 2.62%, equity — by 10.89%, liabilities — by 1.47%. The growth of the Bank's equity capital became possible due to the increase of its authorized capital from 3,002 to 6,154 billion UAH.
Capital ratios of Raiffeisen Bank Aval for the first quarter of 2016 showed a growing trend: regulatory capital (H1) increased by 0.64% to UAH 7,947 billion, regulatory capital adequacy ratio (H2) increased from 19.13% to 20.85%.
"The raising of standards N1 and N2 of the Bank has been completely the opposite of the dynamics of averages of these norms on the banking system of Ukraine, which speaks of JSC "Raiffeisen Bank Aval" as a Bank, as opposed to the negative trends," says RA "Standard-Rating".
The rating Agency "Standard-Rating "was established in Ukraine in October 2010 as a subsidiary of the European rating company GPRS"StandardRating". In April 2012, the NSCB included RA "Standard-Rating" (Ukraine) in the register of authorized rating agencies.
