Raiffeisen Bank Aval earned over UAH 4 billion in profit for 9 months of 2018
Kyiv. 14 November. — Raiffeisen Bank Aval continues to demonstrate a substantial financial result: in 3Q 2019, the bank earned a profit sized UAH 1,121 million. From the beginning of the year, the bank’s profit has amounted to UAH 3,504 million on an accrual basis.
In January-September 2019, the bank received UAH 5,314 million of net interest incomes, what is by 1.25 per cent more in comparison with the results for the same period in the previous year. The bank’s net commission incomes have amounted to UAH 1,844 million for the reporting period (2.8 per cent growth as compared with January-September of 2018).
The assets of Raiffeisen Bank Aval have increased by 4 per cent for the first three quarters of 2019 reaching UAH 76,269 million as at 30 September 2019. Customer loans amounted to UAH 44,302 million (a decrease by 5.7 per cent since the year beginning).
The bank’s obligations have increased by 4.7 per cent since the beginning of the year to UAH 64,595 million as at 30 September 2019, including customer funds that have grown to UAH 62,201 million (6.5 per cent growth for the first 9 months 2019).
Raiffeisen Bank Aval has a sufficient capital base (UAH 11,674 million as at 30 September 2019) and good liquidity. The regulative capital adequacy ratio of the bank (H2) was 17.19 per cent at the end of September (at the NBU required minimum of 10 per cent).
Raiffeisen Bank Aval was founded on 27 March 1992. Since October 2005, the bank has become part of the Austrian banking group Raiffeisen Bank International AG. As at 30 September 2019, Raiffeisen Group owned 68.28 per cent of the shares of the bank, and the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development hold 30 per cent of the bank’s stock.
