Raiffeisen Bank received UAH 6.2 bn net profit and paid UAH 1.8 bn taxes during 3 quarters of 2023

Based on the performance results in January-September 2023 net profit of Raiffeisen Bank constituted UAH 6.2 bn*.

Gross income of Raiffeisen Bank for three quarters of 2023 constituted UAH 15.9 bn in comparison with UAH 12.4 bn in the previous year (+28%).

The amount of taxes and duties paid by Raiffeisen Bank in January- September 2023 was UAH 1.8 bn.

As of September 30, 2023, the Bank’s assets reached UAH 182 bn, having increased by UAH 16 bn or 9.6% since the beginning of the year. Liabilities constituted UAH 159 bn and increased by UAH 9.7 bn or 6.5% since the beginning of the year.

In January- September 2023 the bank has disbursed new loans for UAH 77.2 bn, out of which UAH 52 bn – to the industries that are critical for the country (agriculture, retail trade, pharmaceutics and fuel supply).  The Bank continues supporting agrarians, this direction remains the key priority of Raiffeisen Bank – since the beginning of the year the Bank has disbursed new loans to the agrarians for almost UAH 22 bn.

The services of Raiffeisen Bank help millions of Ukrainians to resolve daily issues, receive funds for the development and save for the future via digital channels and branch network. As of the end of September corporate customers constituted 12.6k out of total 2.9 bn customers of the Bank. The number of active users of the bank’s services significantly increased among PI customers by 84.7 thousand or +4% year-on-year.

Raiffeisen Bank continues supporting the country during the war also by investing in the state securities – during 9 months of 2023 the bank increased domestic government bonds portfolio by UAH 10 bn. The total volume of domestic government bonds portfolio of Raiffeisen Bank as of the end of September constituted UAH 24.5 bn, which is the biggest portfolio after the state banks.

Raiffeisen Bank Ukraine ensures the movement of cash funds, having collected the domestic currency cash amounting to UAH 102.5 bn for 9 months of the current year and traditionally ranks first in terms of the volume of foreign currency cash – EUR and USD transported to the country.

The volume of customers’ funds as of the end of September 2023 amounted to UAH 152.4 bn and grew by UAH 9.4 bn or 6.6.% since the beginning of the year.

As always, the bank fulfils the requirements of the National Bank of Ukraine at a steadily high level. As of the end of September 2023, the capital adequacy level of Raiffeisen Bank was 26.3% while the minimum requirement was 10%, and tier one capital adequacy was 17.9% against the minimum requirement of 7%.
