POS terminal in 23 minutes: a new acquiring solution is now available in Ukraine

Raiffeisen Bank has presented a new acquiring service: from now on, you can receive a POS terminal at the bank in just 23 minutes. The service was launched with Mastercard’s support.

The new solution addresses the need of small and medium-sized businesses for speed and simplicity. Whenever an entrepreneur starts a new business or scales an existing business, every day a business cannot accept cashless payments means lost customers.

Connecting a terminal took up to 72 hours on average before, while now an entrepreneur can get a terminal immediately at a branch or order it online via MyRaif application.

“We looked at the process from a customer’s perspective and removed all unnecessary steps. Businesses do not need complex procedures, they need a tool available here and now”, says Yevhen Vasyltsov, the Head of Acquiring Division of Raiffeisen Bank.

The Bank prioritizes not only speed, but also other advantages of merchant acquiring services. Entrepreneurs receive up-to-date Android terminals, which can operate continuously even during power outages, with funds credited to accounts fast, on the following business day, and integrated software-based cash register without additional complex settings, and other advantages.

There are two possible ways to receive a POS terminal:

• you may contact any branch of Raiffeisen Bank  and receive a terminal within 23 minutes;
• or file an application online via MyRaif application.

Thus, acquiring is no longer a separate long step in the process of launching a business. It is a part of a fast start now.
