Over half million hryvnias raised through Raiffeisen Bank in framework of Coins for Children charity event

UAH 562,6 thousand raised through Raiffeisen Bank during Coins for Children charity event.

In total, UAH 3 million has been raised by all participating banks to help children with cancer. Coins for Children campaign, initiated by the National Bank of Ukraine and Tabletochky Foundation, took place from September 1 till October 15 on the whole territory of Ukraine in order to remove coins with a face value of 0.25 UAH. Such coins ceased to be means of payment a year ago.

Thanks to everyone joined! The driving force of campaign became children - preschoolers, schoolchildren and students. 4370 education institutions and labor collectives were registered in campaign.

Let's note our cashiers and collectors separately - thanks to their assistance Raif managed to make coins recalculation, enrollment and collection accessible to all campaign participants.

The part of funds raised by Tabletochki Foundation will be used to get all necessary consumables for Neurosurgery department in Okhmatdyt children hospital.

The remaining funds will be used to purchase an ultrasonic scalpel for the Western Ukrainian Specialized Children's Center in Lviv.
