Oleksandr Pysaruk to become new CEO of Raiffeisen Bank Aval

Kyiv. August 20. — Following a well in advance planned comprehensive search for a suitable successor, the Supervisory Board took the decision to appoint Oleksandr Pysaruk as the new CEO of Raiffeisen Bank Aval. This decision is subject to the approval of the supervisory authorities. The 54-year-old Ukrainian is a senior banker with 27 years of experience, including senior roles in leading international banks, the National Bank of Ukraine and the IMF.

Volodymyr Lavrenchuk has held the position of CEO in Raiffeisen Bank Aval for the last 14 years. During those years the bank was transformed into a modern and efficient financial institution well integrated into Raiffeisen Bank International which is one of the leading European banking groups.

Raiffeisen Bank Aval holds a leading position and has an excellent reputation in the Ukrainian financial market with a high level of customer’s confidence as well as outstanding financial results demonstrated during the last years.
