Moody's confirms Raiffeisen Bank ratings
On December 20, 2021, the rating agency Moody's Investors Service (Moody's) confirmed Raiffeisen Bank rating of:
- long-term foreign- and local-currency deposit ratings of B2;
- long-term counterparty risk rating of B2;
- the national scale of Aa3.ua.
The outlook on the rating is "stable".
Raiffeisen Bank current rating is limited with Ukrainian sovereign rating (B3, outlook "stable"), taken into account the bank's financial base. According to Moody's, Raiffeisen Bank has demonstrated a robust capital buffer; strong pre-provision profitability, notwithstanding the pandemic; and solid liquidity and funding profiles, given the low reliance on market funding.
The agency decision also takes into account the assistance of Raiffeisen Bank by the parent company Raiffeisen Bank International.
