Film festival "Open Night — Double 21" again took place with the support of Raiffeisen Bank Aval
Kiev. 2 July. — Raiffeisen Bank Aval for the sixth consecutive year supported the film festival “Open Night — Take 21" held in the night of 30 June 1 July.
“Today is a very important a variety of social projects aimed at the strengthening our cultural traditions and values. The film festival “Open Night” is a great example, — noticed on the opening ceremony of the festival Natalia Marchenko, Director of Department of Executive management and communications the Raiffeisen Bank Aval. — Is not only a good platform for finding new talented Directors, and and significant contribution in spiritual revival of the Ukrainian cinema. With every year the festival is gaining strength, scale, and nice to see not only quantitatively but also qualitatively changing our Ukrainian cinema”.
previous years, the main venue of the festival was “Art-dock” in Kiev. Simultaneously with the capital of screenings of short films by Ukrainian Directors were held on 80 grounds of Ukraine and abroad.
the competition program of the festival this year includes 9 tapes 7 documentary 5 animation.
More in Kiev night of the festival the audience could see the films of the project «See the Ukrainian — create your future!”. This comprehensive multi-format communication project contributes to the development of Ukrainian cinema and the dissemination of creative means of civil and moral values. The conceptual idea of the project is to theory — “the Future people are doing!”.
Failed “Open Night” the honorary ceremony. The winners of special nominations were received not only diplomas, but and cash awards.
the Grand Prix of the festival 50 thousand. from UAH to Raiffeisen Bank Aval received animated short film called "Causal" created on the eponymous ballad poetry of Taras Shevchenko. Director — Andrey Shcherbak.
“Open Night” — Ukrainian festival of Russian cinema, founded in 1997. The founder and permanent organizer of the festival — directed by Mykhailo Illienko. The festival is held annually in late June as an overview of the best achievements of Ukrainian short films.
