The RZB group has published a sustainability Report for the year 2016
June 29. - the Group of Raiffeisen Zentralbank österreich AG (RZB) announced its sustainability Report (Sustainability Report) for the year 2016.
As noted in the Group head office in Vienna, the annual sustainability Report is an important part of the dialogue with stakeholders and their involvement to such a dialogue. After this report the RZB Group informs the public, its customers, shareholders, partners and staff about the economic, environmental and social impacts of their business activities during the year and presents its current and planned activity in the sphere of sustainable development.
the report last published as a report of the RZB Group, as a result of the merger of RZB AG and Raiffeisen Bank international AG (RBI) in the current year, the sustainability Report for the year 2017 will be released for the RBI Group.
a Report prepared in accordance with the globally recognized format comprehensive and transparent reporting-the Global reporting initiative (Global Reporting Initiative, GRI). Audit report carried out by KPMG Austria GmbH, Wirtschaftsprüfungs - und Steuerberatungsgesellschaft.
the First few sections of this report contains references to sustainable development from the point of view of the UN that best fit the business and the sustainable development strategy of the Raiffeisen Group.
Prime status in the appropriate rating by oekom research, and the project disclosure on carbon emissions (Carbon Disclosure Project) is a clear confirmation of the implementation of the RZB Group obligations’commitments in the field of sustainable development.
