Deposits of Raiffeisen Bank Aval recognized most reliable again, — RA “Standard Rating”

Kyiv. 17 September. — According to the results of the twenty-sixth “Rating of Reliability (Attractiveness) of Bank Deposits” made by the Rating Agency “Standard Rating” (Ukraine), deposits of Raiffeisen Bank Aval are named the most reliable again.

This rating was based on the results of the performance of Ukrainian banks in the second quarter of 2019.  

“Traditionally, the first position in the rating of reliability of bank deposits is taken by Raiffeisen Bank Aval», the agency informs. – The net profit of Raiffeisen Bank Aval for 1H 2019 made up above UAH 2.38 billion. The NPL share in the bank’s loan portfolio as at 1 July 2019 was “only 7.94%, that is times lower than a market average NPL level in loan portfolios of banks”.

This time, 59 Ukrainian banks became the participants of the quarterly rating of RA “Standard Rating”. As experts note, in the second quarter 2019 banks “continued a demonstrative growth trend”: the total after tax profit of the participant banks for 1H 2019 made up almost UAH 31.07 billion; major banks demonstrated a lower NPL share. “These facts confirm that Ukrainian banks have left crisis phenomena far behind and entered a bright growth period providing profits for their investors again”, Standard Rating comments.

Raiffeisen Bank Aval remains one of the leaders in the Ukrainian market in terms of the PI deposit volumes. The bank offers deposits in Hryvnia, US dollars and EUR  on demand or for the period of 1, 2, 3, 6 and 12 months with a convenient percent payment scheme (in the end of the mature period or on a monthly basis, with the possibility of capitalization of per cents) and with a deposit replenishment option (in cash or by cashless transfer via Internet Banking Raiffeisen Online, self-service terminals or by a permanent warranty for deposit replenishment), and many other advantages.
