The shareholders of Raiffeisen Bank approved the bank’s results for 2023 and determined the key areas of activities for 2024

Raiffeisen Bank held the remote General Shareholders’ Meeting on April 22, at which a number of decisions were approved.

In particular, the report of the Supervisory Board on the bank’s performance results in 2023 and the key areas of Raiffeisen Bank’s activities for 2024 were approved.

The shareholders considered and approved the audit report of Deloitte and Touche Ukrainian Services Company LLC on Raiffeisen Bank’s activities in 2023 and the annual report of the bank and its subsidiaries for 2023.

Raiffeisen Bank’s profit for 2023 was UAH 4.781 bn and was distributed by the shareholders according to the banking regulator’s requirements during wartime.

The members of Raiffeisen Bank’s Supervisory Board were also reelected for the new period.

As the new legislative provisions came into effect, the amendments were introduced into the Articles, the regulations on the Supervisory Board, the Corporate Governance Code, the regulation on the general shareholders’ meeting, the regulation on the disclosure of the information to the shareholders and a number of other documents of the bank in corporate governance area by means of the approval of the new versions thereof.

Raiffeisen Bank JSC, registered on March 27, 1992, is one of the largest foreign-owned banks in Ukraine. In October 2005, it became a part of the Austrian Banking Group Raiffeisen Bank International AG. As of December 31, 2023, Raiffeisen Group held 68.21% of the bank’s shares, while the European Bank For Reconstruction and Development held 30%.
