Social networks for business

In Ukraine, with the support of the EU-EU4Business initiative and the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development, the Merezha social platform has been launched where Ukrainian business owners can find consultants.

Representatives of small and medium-sized businesses can easily find consultants and specialists in various areas to solve the problems facing the company. This should help the new social network Merezha, which brings businessmen and consultants in a format similar to an application for online dating.

The Merezha project was created by the ISD Group agency and launched as part of the EU4Business initiative of the European Union with the support of the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD). The EBRD representative Pavel Vdovich says that Merezha is a marketplace of experts with elements of a social network.

Already, entrepreneurs can view a dozen expert video presentations and subscribe to those they like. A positive first impression allows the parties to organize a dialogue. The creative director of ISD Group, Viktor Shkurba, says that this is an analogue of Tinder for business.

Using the new social network, consultants will be able to offer their services at a lower cost, as well as increase the audience of acquaintances who may be interested in their services. A business will be less afraid of situations when it is necessary to conclude an agreement with an agency; it can also change experts depending on its own plans and tasks. At Merezha, the experts represent themselves, not “getting involved” in a particular company.

The platform’s goal is to take Ukrainian enterprises to a new level by attracting business support centers and business experts, the authors of the project say on the official website. “Merezha focuses its efforts on medium and small enterprises, start-ups and future businesses, as they create jobs, market competition and lay the foundation for a healthy economic system in the country,” said the creators of Merezha. In the future, the platform intends to open access to data on the state of small and medium-sized businesses in Ukraine.
