In 7 cities entrepreneurs took part in business seminars, "Academy of business" from Raiffeisen Bank Aval

Kiev. 5th of December. - Raiffeisen Bank Aval held new business seminars in Kropivnitsky, Dnieper, Poltava, Lutsk, Kharkov, Kiev and Ivano-Frankivsk for the clients of the small and micro business segment as part of the Academy of Business project by Bank Aval.

In 2013, Raiffeisen Bank Aval opened an innovative direction in the banking services market - business seminars for small and micro businesses. Like three years ago, Raiffeisen Bank Aval remains the only Ukrainian bank that provides its clients with a similar service on a regular and free basis. These events contribute to building long-term and fruitful cooperation of the bank with customers, as well as provide them with informational support and help to introduce progressive methods and practices in current business activities.

To participate in the events are invited, including entrepreneurs and businessmen who are not clients of Raiffeisen Bank Aval. The rule remains the same: during business seminars, the bank does not offer banking products and services. The activities of Raiffeisen Bank Aval and the banking system as a whole are discussed exclusively within the scope of the seminar.

In partnership with the specialists of the International Finance Corporation (IFC, one of the five institutions of the World Bank Group), the topics of the seminars were developed, which today comprise 6 areas. Business seminars are conducted by employees of Raiffeisen Bank Aval, who have received appropriate training at IFC.

This time the workshops were conducted:

 in Kropyvnytskyi - Alexy Sereda and Valentina Onishchenko; the topic of the business meeting is “Business cycle and liquidity management”;

 in Kiev - Anna Podzerey and Alexander Shinkaryuk; the topic of the business meeting is “Management of accounts receivable and payable and inventory”;

 in Poltava - Katerina Prikhodko and Natalia Kuzovkova; the topic of the business meeting is “Management of accounts receivable and payable and inventory”;

 in the Dnieper - Aleksey Sereda and Olga Dreshpak; the topic of the business meeting is “Evaluation of investment decisions”;

 in Lutsk - Marina Sudeiko and Viktor Khomitsky; the topic of the business meeting is “Making Financial Decisions”;

 in Kharkov - Elena Ivanova and Natalia Kuzovkova; the topic of the business meeting is “Making Financial Decisions”;

 in Ivano-Frankivsk - Alena Puzankova t Konstantin Shkilnyak; The topic of the business meeting is “Evaluation of investment decisions”.

A participant in a business seminar in Kharkov, Tatyana Boichuk, chief accountant at Rina (wholesale grain, a client of Raiffeisen Bank Aval since 2009), shared her impressions: “Reasonably interesting information that can be used in daily work. The decision-making algorithm from the point of view of dividing into important and unimportant will help, at the early stage, discard information that is misleading and increases the risk of an erroneous decision. Of course, it is difficult to leave the comfort zone, but you need to invest time and energy in yourself. It is very good that at the seminar there were representatives of various fields of activity - this greatly expands the range of perception, allows you to look at things that have been known for a long time from a different angle. This was the second seminar I attended at the invitation of the bank. If for the first time I still doubted, then for the third time I’ll definitely visit this event, because I am sure of its usefulness. ”

Participation in a business seminar in the Poltava region took Denis Yablonovsky (FOP Denis S. Yablonovsky, trade in medicines, reagents, equipment for laboratory research. He has been a client of Raiffeisen Bank Aval since May 2016). As Denis Yablonovsky notes: “Education is my hobby, I have more than one higher education and experience in studying abroad. I invest a lot of time and money in it. And getting this experience from the bank is unexpected and important. Modern material, professional coaches. And the fact that these are bank employees makes these meetings constructive and valuable. It is interesting and useful to listen to people who know about small business not from textbooks, but from many years of practice. This is the third seminar that I attended at the invitation of the bank, and with each successive time I am convinced that this is a good idea, and the main thing is a good implementation: lively discussions, professionalism, quality and practicality. ”

Physical person - entrepreneur Yury Zubal, participant of a business seminar in Lutsk, official representative of Ukrainian Humates LLC, engaged in the sale of organic fertilizers (the company has served in Raiffeisen Bank Aval since July 2016): “I attend a banking seminar for the third time, the last topic liked Making financial decisions is important for any business. When communicating with each other in an audience where representatives of various business lines that occupy different positions (directors, owners, accountants) were present, truth is born. Sometimes a lack of knowledge prevents us from growing and going further, because self-education needs to be given time. In the conditions of competition and falling solvency among the population, it is necessary to think how to be ahead of their competitors by several steps.
