Raiffeisen Bank Aval provided charitable help to medical institutions treating cancer-ill children

Kyiv. 2 April. –  Raiffeisen Bank Aval in cooperation with the Charitable Foundation “Zaporuka” has provided charitable aid for purchasing coronavirus protection means and payment of transportation services for medical institutions, which treat children with cancer today. These are: the National Cancer Institute, the Clinic of Children’s Neurosurgery and the Western Ukrainian Specialized Children's Medical Centre.

On the request of “Zaporuka” CF, Raiffeisen Bank Aval has provided UAH 140,000 for these institutions for purchasing medical face masks, protective eyeglasses, antiseptics for patients and staff, disinfecting means for premises, as well as for payment of taxi services for medics.

The bank has been supporting the Charitable Foundation “Zaporuka”, which cares for cancer-ill children, for many years. In addition, there is an unlimited fund raising event effective since 2016 aimed at the help to such children and promotion of the activity of the “Dacha” Centre for Cancer-ill Children.

Earlier, Raiffeisen Bank Aval has also provided charitable aid sized UAH 2.4 mln for the purchase of three artificial lung ventilation machines AVEA, made in the USA, for the Kyiv City Hospital #9 and the Chernivtsi Regional Hospital.
