Kiev. June 21. — Raiffeisen Bank Aval recognized “the Best public practice of corporate governance in the banking sector,” as part of the annual survey of “Corporate governance in banks and real sector companies — 2016". The Grand awards ceremony was held during the 4th International forum of corporate secretaries in Odessa.

In the rating scale of corporate governance Raiffeisen Bank Aval has the highest level — cgA(pi), which confirms good corporate governance in the Bank, and that the risks to its shareholders, investors and stakeholders are minimal.

in General was investigated by the Bank 91 and 57 companies — has analyzed their internal documents publicly available for the previous three years. Among the areas discussed during the study, were: shareholders of the company and protection of their rights; Supervisory Board; management, audit and control; disclosure and transparency; self-initiative and interaction with the regulator.

the organizers of the study-the rating Agency IBI-Rating and the Professional Association of corporate governance — has set itself the goal to determine the current level and direction to improve corporate governance in companies in the real sector of Ukraine for investment decisions.
