The Bank has been the largest donor of this program.
The Memorandum provides for systemic work with students and development of Ukraine’s potential through internships and practical training, joint work on curricula and updating of academic programs with the involvement of the expertise of the Bank’s employees, as well as development of the professional community through workshops, lectures and public events. The document also provides the opportunity for joint research and development, preparation of grant applications and launch of joint programs and projects within the framework of additional agreements, as well as other initiatives that can be beneficial for the country and the society.
Cooperation is already being implemented in practice: the Bank’s specialists give lectures, conduct workshops, and join projects and educational initiatives for KSE students.
“We invest in the future of Ukraine through the development of human capital – education, practical skills and professional communities. The Memorandum with KSE formalizes our agreements: from internships and the development of academic programs to joint research and socially important initiatives”, noted Yuliia Starokozheva, the CIO.
Yevhen Baliutov, Information Security Director, emphasized the importance of practical cooperation, in particular, in cybersecurity area: “Resilience and information protection are critical for the financial sector. Joint educational and research initiatives help train specialists who understand real challenges and responsibility standards.”
